How a connection happens
Basic training, a first duty station, a ship pulling into a new port. These are the moments a young Christian is most likely to drift. We make sure a congregation knows they’re coming.

Our story
It started with one Air Force family
Don Yelton was an Air Force NCO. He and his wife Harriet knew firsthand how hard it is to live faithfully while moving from post to post. In 1976, with the White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ as sponsor, they started AMEN so military Christians could find a church home wherever they were sent.
Since 2016 the ministry has been overseen by the elders of the Manchester Church of Christ in Connecticut. The mission hasn’t changed: encourage Christians in uniform to grow, to lead, and to share the gospel where they serve.
